Chinese Export Silver, aka Paktong, is an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc.(German silver & nickel silver are similar in this regard.) There is NO silver in this piece. But it is quite handsome.
Monteith Style Bowl, 5" diameter scalloped edge bowl with lions head handles and FAUX Scottish hallmarks on the bottom, gold-colored wash on the interior. 20thC copy of the earlier style.
