Due to the 3-Day Holiday, should you bid and win - provided you pay your invoice no later than 5pm Sun 5/25/24 we will HOLD your items for pick up on the following weekend (Sun 6/1 or Mon 6/2 10-1pm).

SHIPPING AVAILABLE - We are willing to ship SMALL ITEMS ONLY FOR THIS AUCTION ONLY - all items will be shipped USPS Priority Mail, Insured, and Signature Required on all orders over $100. Your order must fit in (up to) a Large Flat Rate Priority Mail Box 12” x 12” x 5.5”. Fragile items will be charged an extra fee for packing and packaging material.

Your auction order must be PAID, and we will invoice separately for shipping costs after your emailed request to:

Note: All shipping is billed through Paypal. It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure address on PayPal is current to ensure both Seller and Buyer is covered. We will NOT manually change the shipping address.

Personal note from owner of Picks and Treasures, and Bay Area Online Auctions

This auction is a personal fundraiser for Sydney Griffin, my niece who was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Metastasis to nearby lymph nodes (Breast Cancer). This is the beginning of her fight, and as much as this saddens me - it will only make us tougher.

As some may know, my brother passed away 4 weeks ago (this was written several months old, he passed 2/10/25) and Sydney (his daughter, my niece) was instrumental in the oversight of his care. Within weeks, she knew something was physically wrong and began the process of check ups. And, on Monday 3/5/25 she was given the dreaded news. We all were given the dreaded news and have not been the same.

This is only the beginning and what we already know there are major surgeries that are a given. She will need to leave her job to focus not only on her own physical needs, but encompass the mental, emotional, and financial needs of her husband (he does work full-time but will be needing to take time off during her procedures) and five children. This is where I hope to step in - to support her husband and her in the capacity that I can best provide.

UPDATE 5/15/25 Sydney has healed well (physically and emotionally) after her surgeries. She begins her 6 month long chemotherapy treatment 6/2/25 which she is anticipating the longest and challenging time of her fight. 

UPDATE 4/25/25 Some good news, several lymph nodes and a single mastectomy was performed last week - she has been healing well, some good days and some bad days. Once Sydney has recovered, they will follow up with 6 months of chemotherapy. This will take place in Los Angeles so there will be a lot of traveling involved, but she is feeling much more positive!

UPDATE 3/20/25 It has been confirmed there will be multiple surgeries involved followed by chemotherapy, first one has been scheduled for 4/15/25. We anticipate somewhat a long fight. We thought there was no spread beyond lymph nodes but she just went under further testing yesterday (Mon 4/7/2025) on cysts found in her uterus and other lymph nodes. We are currently awaiting results.

We are asking for any donations for this auction. In turn, we will list your name or company as the Donor on the auction lot. Please be fully aware that this will not be tax deductible, so will be a donation truly based on the heart of giving. We are so so grateful. If any item is not listed on the auction (not viable for auction "historically has no sales") will be placed in the $1 Community sale where, again, ALL PROCEEDS will be given to the recipient.

I will continue to keep this Fundraising auction platform up for anyone else (individual medical challenge, non-profit organization, etc) needing an outlet. I will host 2 weeks of warehouse space in both our Novato and Rohnert Park warehouse. In addition, provide all necessary equipment to successfully run it. EVERY SINGLE PENNY OF THE SALE (less credit card surcharges!) WILL BE DEPOSITED TO RECIPIENTS OWN SQUARE (suggested credit card merchant) ACCOUNT, INCLUDING BUYERS PREMIUM. There is no charge for this, but please understand I am unable to run this so a representative for the cause will need to recruit volunteers and donations. I will do whatever I can to support both.

From this point forward, all proceeds from our $1 Community Sales will be turned over to the fundraiser that will be conducting their pick ups the day of the $1 Community Sales. Please note, items provided for the $1 Community Sale are given by families/estates not by Picks and Treasures. We ask for a silent "thank you" to the families for these donations.
