This striking mid-century glass vase features a tall cone form in deep amethyst purple glass. I believe it is Empoli Hand-blown in Tuscany, Italy during the 1960s–70s, it has the classic Empoli modernist style: a sleek tapered body, subtle color shifts from smoky gray to rich purple in the light, and a slightly concave, fire-polished base.
