Description: An exquisite piece of vintage Mexican jewelry, this sterling silver link bracelet showcases the renowned craftsmanship of Taxco. It features multiple articulated panels, each a bezel-set, hand-carved green onyx or dyed jade stone, often referred to as "Mexican jade". The panels are accented with elaborate scrollwork and a deep patina that highlights the intricate details. The bracelet secures with a classic push-tab box clasp and likely includes a safety chain (as is common with these pieces).
Hallmarks: Stamped on the clasp is the word "MEXICO" and "STERLING" (or "925"), which is typical of early-to-mid 20th-century Mexican silverwork. The hallmark appears to feature the letter-and-number system (T-XX or similar), indicating the location and silversmith's initial and registration number, dating the piece to circa the late 1970s or later.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with natural age-appropriate patina. The stones are intact with minimal signs of wear; the original patina has been preserved, though it can be polished at the buyer's discretion.
