Description:
Seyei fine china plates, likely produced in Japan around the 1960s, featuring a design based on the artwork of Mushanokoji Saneatsu. The plate is white with a gold rim and depicts three gourds or squash of different colors and sizes, along with Japanese calligraphy and a red seal.

The calligraphy translates to "It is a beautiful thing when people get along well". This phrase reflects Saneatsu's philosophy, which emphasized harmony and the beauty of simple things. The red seal is likely the artist's signature or mark.

Seyei was a Japanese company known for producing fine china during the mid-20th century, and their collaboration with artists like Saneatsu resulted in collectible pieces that are appreciated for their artistic and cultural value.
