Warren Spahn played for the Boston and Milwaukee Braves in 1942 and then 1946-1964. His last appearance as a pitcher was in 1965 with the San Francisco Giants. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1973 with an earned run average (ERA) of 3.09, a win-loss record of 363-245 and 2,583 strikeouts.
