Antique oak dining table, dating from the early-to-mid 20th century. Crafted from beautifully figured quarter-sawn tiger oak, the tabletop features an extraordinary diagonal parquet "basketweave" pattern framed by a solid mitered oak border. There are two pull-out supports for leaves, but the leaves are missing. The table's apron features elegant vertical fluted corner blocks, leading down to four substantial, heavily turned melon-bulb legs. The legs are joined by a sturdy, low-profile H-stretcher that ensures rock-solid stability while maintaining ample legroom for diners.
